Guidelines for posting on the SLANSW web notice board.


The Community Noticeboard is designated for the promotion of non commercial and free community services and for the placement of announcements of community interest and/or benefit within the Sri Lankan Community.


Contents that we accept for posting,


·      Birth Announcements,

·      Marriage Announcements

·      Name/Address Changes

·      Obituaries

·      Volunteer Services of a Community Interest (Examples Free services that are offered such as JP Services, Volunteer transport services)



Announcements, Community notices of services may be submitted by email to:

All contributions will be assessed by the association prior to publication to ensure adherence with the Guidelines.

The Association reserves the right to moderate the Noticeboard as necessary and to determine the suitability of material received for inclusion on the Noticeboard.

Listings will appear on the Noticeboard for a period deemed necessary by the association and may  be removed as and when the association sees fit without notice.

The announcements would only be posted on the notice board and not on the home page.

Should forward the announcements to us by an immediate family member when it’s of a personal nature. The contact details of the person submitting should be available if we chose to clarify anything.

Content should not exceed five lines.
